From 4th July 2024 the sale of rodenticides containing bromadiolone and difenacoum for use in open areas (away from buildings) will be illegal. These products will still have authorisation to be used indoors and around buildings.

This time of year is notoriously bad for rodents and we recommend farmers strengthen their defences against rodents as they prepare to make their annual migration from ditches and hedgerows to cosier accommodation among the farm buildings.
