Quill Lyte Plus | 1L & 5L

Quill Lyte Plus is a liquid electrolyte for Game Birds, Poultry, Pigs, Turkeys & Racing Pigeon drinking water containing Balanced Electrolytes, B Vitamins and Vitamin C. Formulated to rehydrate and restore energy during periods of stress, exertion or hot weather.

DILUTION RATE

2-5:1000 (2-5ml of Lyte Plus in 1 Litre of drinking water, administered daily)

Use at a rate of 5:1000 for optimum rehydration during periods of stress.

Quill Lyte Plus Components:

Electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium & Magnesium)

• Retains muscle hydration, pH balance & nerve function

Dextrose

• Maximises electrolyte absorption & provides energy
  

B Vitamins (Vitamin B1, B2, B6 & B12)

• Assists metabolism of nutrients during times of stress

• Supports during heat stress

Directions for use:

Dilution rate 2-5: 1000 (2-5ml of Quill Lyte Plus per 1000ml water)

Use at a rate of 5:1000 for optimum rehydration during periods of stress.

Add to drinking water; directly into drinkers, tanks or with a dosing pump. Can be used alongside other Quill supplements; mix within water not as concentrates.

Recommendation: Use a water sanitiser to prevent the build up of biofilm whilst using supplements.

Why do pigs need B vitamins?

B vitamins are crucial for pigs metabolism, growth and reproductive health. Growing pigs have a significant requirement for B vitamins as they have high rates of lean tissue growth. B vitamins are also essential for the metabolism of animo acids in pigs.

• Vitamin B2: Essential for metabolic balance, growth, and immune regulation
• Vitamin B3: Supports pig immunity and can help fight infection
• Vitamin B12: Important for tissue repair, has anti-inflammatory properties

Why do birds need B vitamins?

Birds are unable to produce B vitamins which they need for energy metabolism, nerve function, red blood cell production, overall growth and development.

At times of stress such as changes in environment, after transport, physical exertion or following vaccination, birds requirement for B vitamins increases significantly.

Quill Lyte Plus contains a range of vitamins for different requirements:

• Glycine & Vitamin C: Supports birds during heat stress, helps to maintain efficiency and muscle health
• Vitamin B1: Deficiency may cause nervous system issues like stargazing, weak digestion and weakness
