Quill Aniseed Oil Mix | 1L, 5L & 20L

Quill Aniseed Oil Mix is a liquid complimentary feeding-stuff for Game Birds & Racing Pigeons containing Food Grade Aniseed Oil Mix. Formulated to encourage birds to feed, stay close after release & attract roaming birds.

1 litre : 1 tonne of feed

Aniseed Oil

• Strong aniseed aroma is effective even at low concentrations
• Ready to use
• Easy to mix with wheat, barley or pellets
• Attracts roaming birds
• Encourages birds to return to feed source

Directions for use:

Dilution rate 1 litre : 1 tonne of feed

Mix thoroughly with grain or pellet feeds. Can also be sprayed into feeder before feed is added.

Store in cool dry conditions out of direct sunlight. For animal use only. Not recommended for use at the same time as wormers or vaccinations in the water.

How does aniseed attract birds?

Aniseed contains anethole, an aromatic compound that is highly attractive to birds. Pheasants, partridge & pigeons all love the smell of aniseed oil and when pre-mixed with feed, this attractant can be used to keep birds close to a specific feed source.
