This 28mm (1 ⅛") square mesh netting is ideal to use as top netting for partridge pens. Made from heavy-duty UV stabilised polyethylene to last up to 20 years outdoors. This product can be used to cover the top of rearing pen runs, laying and hen pens.  

  • Ideal for use as top netting for partridge pens
  • Can be used on building to prevent starlings from nesting
  • Water and run resistant
  • Can be used for poultry pens, laying pens, as starling netting, for release pens, brooder runs, anti predator netting, roof protection, crop protection and for sports perimeters
  • Hard wearing and rot proof
  • Breaking strength of 14kg
  • Approximately 1mm thick

Available in a wide range of sizes including 11ft x 11ft, 16ft x 16ft and 33ft x 42ft.

Avian Influenza Prevention

Poultry keepers, game farmers and bird rearers across the UK face the threat of Avian Influenza every winter.

There are simple preventative measures you can do to improve biosecurity on your premises:

  • Deter wild birds by using netting over the tops of enclosures
  • Pre-clean and dip boots in disinfectant before entering or leaving bird areas
  • Keep rodents under control by using traps and rat baits
  • Ensure drinking water is clean and enclosed by using nipple drinkers
  • Use an organic acid in the drinking water of game birds to improve immunity
  • Minimise movement in and out of bird enclosures and disinfect regularly
