Quill Lyte | 20L

Quill Lyte is an electrolyte for pigs & poultry to help prevent dehydration, replenish fluids & boosts energy.

Key components: Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Glycine, Potassium Citrate, Magnesium Sulphate, Monopotassium Phosphate

• Ideal during hot weather or at times of heat stress

Dosing Instructions:

Add to drinking water; directly into drinkers, tanks or with a dosing pump. 

Dilution rate 5: 1000 (5ml of Quill Lyte per 1000ml water)

We recommend the use of water sanitiser with waterlines to prevent bio-film build up. Not recommended for use at the same time as wormers or vaccinations in the water.

During processing, animals often lose weight due to long feed withdrawal, stress and dehydration. Using this electrolyte for 48 hours before collection will increase water consumption to ensure maximum muscle hydration. What’s more, the electrolytes in Quill Lyte encourage pigs & poultry to drink more.

What is Glycine?

Quill Lyte contains Glycine, an essential amino acid in Poultry & Pig diets. Glycine is essential for muscle mass development, weight gain & skin strength in monogastrics. Trials have shown that glycine is an essential amino acid for enhancing muscle protein mass in young piglets.
