Product variants

The Quill 150 Trap Box is a vermin trap box suitable for use as a tunnel with the Quill 150 Trap.

Camouflaged plastic is impregnated with fishmeal to attract vermin
Can be used to trapping rats, weasels & stoats
Strong durable plastic can be reused for years
Lid is secured with an Allen Key (not included) for health and safety
Solid stainless steel to avoid rusting

The Quill 150 Trap Box is the first trap box to have a safety catch on the outside of the box allowing you to hold back the trap safely using a clip.

This double entry trap box which has been designed in conjunction with industry bodies, in accordance with the new legislation.

Suitable for:

Catching Stoats, Weasels & Rats

The Quill 150 Trap must be used with the correct baffles, to both exclude larger non-target animals and to direct the target animals for a more humane kill. The Quill 150 Trap Box is fitted with wire mesh baffles and is ready to use.

If you would like the trap fitted and secured to the box then please purchase the Quill 150 Trap Box & Quill 150 Trap option which includes the cost of the nuts, bolts, R clip and labour to fit the trap.

Approval

The Quill 150 Spring Trap is approved to be used on for the purpose of killing or taking stoats, rats or weasels in England, Scotland and Wales.

The trap must be set in a natural or artificial tunnel which is suitable for minimising the chances of capturing, killing or injuring non-target species whilst not compromising the killing or taking of target species.

License to trap stoats to conserve wild birds (GL38).

Rodenticide Certification

As of 1st January 2026, professional rodenticide users such as farmers, pest controllers and gamekeepers will be required to show CRRU approved training or a CPD scheme membership in order to buy professional rodenticides.

There are two options for obtaining the mandatory certification to purchase professional-strength rodenticides.

In order to obtain the certification needed to purchase rodenticides you will need to either:

1) Provide proof of training on a CRRU UK approved course that must have been completed in the last 5 years.

2) Proof of certification to a CRRU UK approved training course more than 5 years ago and current membership of a CRRU UK approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme.

Our team will also require a copy of valid ID (such as a copy of drivers license or passport) before the rodenticide can be dispatched, as well as a complete CRRU form. These can be sent into sales@quillprod.com or our team will be in touch before dispatch.
