FAM 30 is excellent for all-round farm disinfection and is a popular choice for equipment like boot dips and wheel baths.
Highly effective on concrete, wood and other absorbent surfaces.
In the UK FAM 30 is approved by DEFRA under The Diseases of Animals Act for use in the event of a notifiable disease outbreak at the following dilutions.
Diseases of Poultry order: 1:65
Foot and Mouth order: 1:55
General orders: 1:49
Swine Vesicular order: 1:100
Tuberculosis order: 1:14

- Iodine is bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal.
- Iodine works with surfactant to penetrate surfaces and organic material where pathogens are present and harder to kill.
- As an oxidising agent, iodine reacts quickly to kill pathogens fast.
- Iodine is not as corrosive as other disinfectants.

The shelf life of FAM 30 concentrate is 3 years. The shelf life of pre-diluted solutions for spraying and foaming is 4 weeks.
