A fast growing cover crop, easy to establish in 50-70 days that can be sown between April - September.
Very useful as a patch or rescue crop when spring crops have failed. Unlike white mustard, it is winter hardy.
It will also improve the health of the soil by increasing organic matter and acts as an excellent weed suppressant.
It is also especially useful as over-wintering green cover after maize, potatoes and sugar beet crops, reducing soil erosion, fertiliser leaching and water run off.
Sowing rate:- 5 - 7.5kg/ha by drill or 5-7.5kg/ha by broadcast
Pack Size:- 5kg
Utilisation period:- Autumn-Spring
Duration of the crop:- 1 season
