Delivery Policy

All sales are made in accordance with our terms and conditions but the notes below are to help you in placing an order.

We endeavour to send all orders received by 1pm (Monday-Friday) on a next working day service.  For example, if you order on a Friday before 1pm, it is likely you will receive your goods on Monday.  If you order after 1pm, it is likely that your goods will be sent on Monday.

We endeavour to send all our pallet orders on a next working day service.  However, certain geographic restrictions apply and there may be destinations where the service is a 2-3 working day service (for instance Scottish Highlands)

All carriage is calculated on a weight, size and hazardous or non-hazardous basis.  If you are unhappy with your carriage charge, please contact us for a human calculated delivery quote and ordering.

If you have difficulty ordering, it may well be because we need to provide you with a specialist carriage quote.  Please contact us for assistance.

There are certain products which we sell which fall under a transport “limited quantity” restriction.  This means that although they are classed as hazardous goods in large volumes, we are able to send small quantities with a non hazardous courier.

Hazardous goods

We take health and safety seriously.  Hazardous goods are sent with a specialist hazardous courier. If you order hazardous goods, please do take care when opening your goods in case of damage in transit.  Please refer to the safety data sheet of the product ordered for handling advice.

All hazardous goods deliveries require a signature.  Whilst we request that the hazardous courier rings 1 hour before delivery, this is not always possible.  Please ensure that you select a delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the goods.  If no one is available, the courier cannot leave the goods in a safe place and a therefore a redelivery fee will be incurred.  This will need to be paid for before delivery can take place.

If you chose not to pay for the re-delivery fee and to instead cancel your order, we will refund you for the goods less the original delivery fee and the fee charged by the courier for the return of the goods to us.

Special instructions

If you have any special delivery instructions such as restricted access or the requirement of a tail lift, please advise us so that we can make the necessary arrangements.  Special delivery instructions may incur an additional charge (which we will advise you of).  Failure to advise of special delivery requirements may result in the courier being unable to deliver and therefore a redelivery fee will be incurred.  This will need to be paid for before delivery can take place.
