Clean drinking systems regularly In our daily lives we tend to take for granted the fact that water is one of the primary necessities of life for both man and animals. Strange really. Certainly if we think about everything that can go wrong with the quality of drinking water, for example due to contamination of the drinking water system. This can have very unpleasant consequences. Fortunately thorough cleaning can prevent this. Intracare helps you with this. It gives recommendations on how to set up a good cleaning strategy for your drinking water systems and provides the ideal cleaning product, Infra Hydrocare. Infra Hydrocare cleans the complete drinking water system (storage reservoirs, pipes, drinking nipples, cups and bell drinkers) in a simple manner, both during and after the production period. Cleaning when the stalls are empty It is best to clean the complete drinking system if the stalls are empty. In this case, a 1-3% Infra Hydrocare solution (1% = 1 litre of Infra Hydrocare in 100 litres of water) is recommended. The Hydrocare has an fizzling action, which means that brushing is unnecessary. You must, however ensure that the drinking system to be cleaned is well ventilated. After the pipes have been fully filled, the drinking nozzles, cups or towers can also be filled. It is not necessary to allow the solution to circulate through the system. After the product has been allowed to work for a minimum of ten hours, the whole system can be rinsed with clean water. |
Cleaning when the system is operational
Drinking systems can also be cleaned while they are in use. In this case, always start the procedure with a dosage of 0.005% (= 50 ml of Hydrocare per 1000 liters of water). Subsequently increase the dosage by 50 ml every two days until the maximum dosage of 0.025% (= 250 ml of Hydrocare per 1000 liters of water) is reached. Depending on the amount and type of contamination, this method will take approx. 10 days. Preventive treatment |
