Digital Dermatitis or sometimes know as "digi" is the scurge of most dairy farms. Digital Dermatitis often reaches its peak during the winter months when the cows are housed all the time. It is a very complicated disease that can have devastating affects financially on a dairy herd. Many products and footbaths have been tried and used on Digital Dermatitis over the years and up until now have not succeeded. The Hoof-Fit product range has undergone extensive registration and is guaranteed to cure Digital Dermatitis. All three products within the Hoof-Fit range needs to be used to combat Digital Dermatitis as often new cases are brought in to the milking herd on a daily basis by heifers etc. Formalin, with its known history as a carcinogenic product, will soon be banned from use. It must be questioned whether Formalin should have ever been used so close to milking parlour situations although it has often been recommended by vets and professionals.
